We are proud and honored to have built, restored and modernized so many churches, temples, religious schools and facilities for faith groups. Our experience has taught us that places of worship frequently serve many purposes, including recreational and community gathering places, and we understand the importance of making the projects work economically as well as functionally.
Understanding the Higher Purpose
We understand that sacred buildings can be large-volume spaces with unique structural, mechanical, acoustical and lighting requirements. They need to remain inviting, safe and user-friendly during a remodeling or renovation process. We work closely with congregations and institutions to balance aspirations with the maximum value we can deliver.
Our experience working on sacred spaces extends throughout our long history. We have a reputation for working well with faith communities, respecting their traditions and understanding the important role they play in their communities. In fact, in 2016 we were honored when St. John’s University gave McGough 20th Colman J. Barry Award for Distinguished Contributions to Religion and Society.
