South Dakota Department of Health Workforce and Education Center project is a significant undertaking aimed at enhancing the state’s public health infrastructure.
The project involves the construction of a new Public Health Laboratory (PHL) Building and the renovation of the existing laboratory facility. The new laboratory facility will be built immediately adjacent to the existing PHL Building on state-owned land. After the construction and relocation of the state public health laboratory to the new facility, the existing PHL Building will be renovated as administrative and training space.
This project represents a significant investment in South Dakota’s public health infrastructure and will provide a modern, state-of-the-art facility to meet the state’s public health laboratory needs.
