In response to the pressing need for improved healthcare services in the rural setting of Renville County, a transformative project was set into motion. The old Renville County Hospital was replaced with a brand new one-story hospital constructed on an open site.
McGough, having established a long track record of successful rural healthcare projects, was selected to carry out the task. Delivering for the county – a much-needed boost to it’s ability to care for local patients like never before.
This state-of-the-art facility now houses primary care rooms, 16 patient rooms, two operating rooms, a dietary area, a well-equipped emergency department with an ambulance garage and helipad, a welcoming lobby, and a versatile conference center. As an emblem of progress, the project even accommodated a mid-construction addition with the installation of an MRI facility. Funded by USDA, this new hospital is a beacon of modern healthcare accessibility, promising a healthier future for the community it serves.
