After its previous service as a working commercial structure, American Trio assumes its final and highest-use as condominium loft homes with high ceilings, large columns fully integrated into living spaces, and massive windows that offer views of the Minneapolis downtown skyline. The historic concrete-frame building underwent this 171,018 SF renovation into 90 loft condo units. The exterior was tuck-pointed, new windows were installed, and a completely new infrastructure, including total mechanical and electrical systems, was installed. A small parking ramp was also added to the back façade.
