St. John's Abbey
Saint Cloud Overview
In early 2012, McGough expanded its presence to include St. Cloud, a vibrant central Minnesota city with a population of more than 200,000. McGough's history in this region began with the construction of St. John's Abbey Church on the St. John's University campus in Collegeville. The Abbey features a folded-plate roof with a 180-foot pillarless span and a 2,500-ton bell tower. Recent work includes the expansion of the CentraCare St. Cloud Hospital, a nine-and-one-half-story, 516,000-square foot, multiphase project, and St. Cloud State's Integrated Science and Engineering Laboratory Facility ('ISELF'), a 100,000-square foot research and teaching facility for sophisticated science, technology, engineering, mathematics, medical technology, and radiology classes.
